Transition into Love

Transition into Love… the Shattering of Illusions
By Michael Roads

The energy of the world is making a shift. Energy is rising. Chaos is rising. Whether we are aware of it or not, this is causing a huge reaction in humanity. You could say that there are the believers (the few), and the non-believers (the many). Interesting times! History indicates that the few have always been right; the many, wrong. Are we to repeat history? We are in a unique period of living transition.
On a fundamental level, humanity lives a life of illusions. Religions offer much advice on how to live our lives, but few religious leaders lead by example. On all sides of the globe, we see extremes of human behavior, from manic cults to power-crazy dictators, from wanton destruction to the increasing use of drugs, both prescription and the delusional; is there a difference? On all levels of human expression we exploit ourselves and the planet in the manner of a species that is going insane.
As a spiritual teacher, my whole focus is on unconditional Love. To experience unconditional Love means a huge consciousness shift in our relationship with ourselves, with the people of the world, and with the Nature of the world. This may not be the most popular game in town because it means embracing ‘newness’ and releasing the ‘more of the same’ syndrome, but there is no other way forward.
Sure, we can step sideways, but whichever direction we take, you have my word that we have been there before. Forward means a shift in consciousness. Forward means taking responsibility for yourself. Forward is the only place that is new. Forward is unconditional Love. Forward is about major Change. Forward is about releasing fear. Forward is only challenging if you decide it is. Forward is the way of spirit rising. Forward is in harmony with Chaos rising. Forward is self-empowering. Forward is the way of creation.
December 2012 had a lot of hype built around it, and some of it is pure nonsense, but much of it contains a great probability. You will be the person who determines what happens to you over the next couple of years. When nothing at all appeared to happen, be aware that appearances can be deceptive. Metaphysical change may not be instantly apparent, but it will eventually have its physical expression. My metaphysical journeys suggest that we will see a great shattering of illusions. Our belief systems are mostly based in illusion. Our monetary system is based in the illusion that money is security. Security holds hands with insecurity; both are an illusion. Our whole society is based around false illusions. Our governmental system is based in illusions. What people call ‘normal’ is based in illusions. The idea that our planet is stable is an illusion. Our health system – make that our sickness system – is all about illusions. Violence, poverty, sickness and greed, to name a few, are all symptoms that illusions always break down, and our global illusions are about to reach their collective ‘Use By’ date.
Lao Tzu said: “The mark of our ignorance is the depth of our belief in violence, injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls a butterfly.” This is exactly the scenario in which we find ourselves; a crescendo of violence, injustice and tragedy are certainly part of the illusion, but they are also a trigger for the metamorphosis that inevitably follows. Whether you and I move from the caterpillar on to ‘more of the same’ caterpillar-ness, or whether we move forward to the butterfly stage of humanity, is not written and determined by a biological blueprint; it will be the result of the way you have lived your life as a human Being.
It is never too late to choose the living transition of Love. But remember, to choose Love means that you have to live Love. Remember also that unconditional Love is not an emotion. Unconditional Love is the power of creation. By living this creative Love you are re-creating yourself. This is a transition.

7 Words to Live by in a World of Transition
Our world is undoubtedly in a period of political, social and spiritual transition. A potential new future is coming to life around us, pushed rapidly forward by a universal shift in energy.
People are waking up to the deception of our existence, and seeking a better way to live. We are quite literally on the cusp of a brand new world. It is an exciting time to be alive, and the possibilities are – for the first time in living memory – quite literally endless.
Living in a transitioning world can be challenging. But embracing simplicity, remaining centred, and living true to your own nature are your keys to creating the new world that YOU want to be a part of.
Courtesy of The Unbounded Spirit, here are 7 words to live by in a changing world:
Patience:
It takes time to be who we want to be, and to live the life we want to live. We cannot have anything we wish right now – everything needs its own time to happen. Learning to be patient is the first truth to living the good life.
Persistence:
Albert Einstein once said that you never fail until you stop trying. Persistent effort is necessary to achieving anything of importance. No matter how many failures you may have experienced, no matter the difficulties you may face, never stop striving to turn your dreams into reality.
Courage:
Mistakes are natural, and failures happen often. Never be afraid of committing mistakes or finding yourself to have failed. Be brave enough to go through challenges and adventure. Nothing will ever be given to you unless you ask for it it.
Responsibility:
Freedom goes hand-in-hand with responsibility. Life is made of choices and choice always brings responsibility. Every action leads to a reaction, every cause has its consequences. Always make sure you choose what you think is right and never forget to see yourself as the creator of your destiny.
Love:
If you have everything, but lack love, then you have nothing. But if you have nothing, except for love, then you have everything. To love is to be at peace with yourself and others.
Truth:
Never be afraid to speak the truth, and always be true to yourself. No matter what others want or expect from you, you should always serve the truth, no matter what the consequences. This might be painful in the beginning, but in the end truth shall set you free.
Appreciation:
Your life might not be the ideal, but your life is still great. Whether you have failed or have not yet achieved to live your dream, you are still here pulsating with life and can experience this wonder-full existence. Aim for something better, but never forget to appreciate what you already have.
