The Point of No Return

At The Point of No Return
by Julian Rose

The wrong people are in charge… that’s pretty obvious. But what is not so obvious is how they got there? And once having found an open gate, why have we left them to graze the best pastures while we grovel around in the barren fallow?
A very strange phenomenon..
This World is run by those of whom the great majority have absolutely no qualifications to be at the helm of anything – not even a small rowing boat. Yet, somehow or other, there they are perched in their palaces, surveying their empires – while simultaneously engaging in the systematic degradation of planet Earth.
Doesn’t matter whether they are generals, headmasters, corporate executives, CEO’s of banks, media moguls, ministers or prime ministers or just about any big bosses – they have the distinction of all acting in unison. While by contrast, the great majority of intelligent and able bodied citizens of this planet, only manage to act – or react – in sporadic and discordant bursts; if at all.
The current controlling masters – and it hasn’t changed much over many centuries – have a commonality of intent: to extract the last ounces of profit and prestige from any and all assets and opportunities that fall into their grasp.
Yet even that isn’t enough for some of them. Profits get a bit boring when they come in the tens of millions year after year and one has occupied the prime suite at Claridges for the past six months. No, there always needs to be just one more thing that can be ‘owned’ and brought under control, so as to satisfy the false agrandissement that is part and parcel of an endless and ultimately fruitless attempt to become omnipotent and untouchable by ordinary mortals.
Such is the aphrodisiac called ‘power’.
Time and again, those who suffer most from a sense of being inwardly dispossessed are the very ones to seek, as compensation, the maximum level of outer possessiveness. And this is the mechanism whereby the wrong people get to be in charge.
Ironically, many who do not suffer such delusional power urges, are quite happy to just tick along fulfilling their aspirations and daily needs as best they can. Yet in doing so, they unwittingly allow the megalomaniacs a direct route to the seats of power.
Those who are secure enough in themselves to take a responsible attitude towards the life around them, seldom come forward to take-on positions of authority and civil responsibility. Their preference is to leave it to others – and in too many cases these ‘others’ often harbour barely disguised ulterior motives.
Yet we look on, aghast, as our world is torn apart by duelling crooks and madmen, each more desperate than the other for the top job in the race for planetary ecocide. Each more desperate than the other to fill any power vacuum that might emerge. Each more desperate than the other to hold a cosh over the disinterested daily workers who struggle on, trying not to notice how bad it’s got..
Where do you belong in this mad scrum?
The wrong people are in charge and the right people don’t want to bother themselves unduly to do anything about it. That just about sums-up the dire state of our post industrial ‘civilisation’. Something has to give..
The question is what?
Will a critical mass of the 99% finally finally act to bring back some genuine self autonomy through wresting control from the 1%?
Or will the 1% finally complete their annihilation job, trashing our planetary assets and crushing our human propensities once and of all? That is the question..
But none of us are free to sit back and play at second guessing the outcome. We are all in there. We are part of the pack. Our every move, whether we see it or not, is either promoting or resisting the despot’s master plan. There is no such thing as being ‘in between’ in this game. The fence you once sat on is broken. The wires are hanging limp. There is no no-man’s-land left to hide in.
At some point soon, those who are fit to lead must take over from those who unfit. It may be a bloodless coup – or it may be a bloody insurrection. One way or another, the shift has to happen.
Forget about Divine intervention. There will be no Divine intervention unless and until there is a very visible human determination already out of the starting blocks and heading for the finishing line. Only then is it possible that higher energies will join the race to bring justice back to this battered World.
We are approaching the point of no return. If we don’t respond to the myriad calls for help that are echoing around this World at an ever increased velocity each day, then we will be condemning ourselves – and those who call upon us – to being forever stranded upon a desolate and barren shore.
That help starts with helping each other to break free from our learned and self induced state of fear and pacifism. A combination that pretty much guarantees an unwillingness to act. An unwillingness to act even when presented with the choice of participating in a mass genocide or opposing it.
I use the word ‘pacifism’ here to convey a ‘state of withdrawal’ in face of the need to act. I do not refer to the choice, which everybody has, to refrain from violence. These are two very different conditions. In this context, taking the decision not to act with violence – is an action. Taking no decision, but simply retreating into a shell – is not.
This unwillingness to act is giving voice to the notion that ‘no action’ is the spiritual choice of the knowing. That to retire into a cul-de-sac of meditation and inward looking self examination can ‘change the world’ by dint of a shifted value focus. Can serve to hermetically seal the self away from the trials and tribulations of the outer world and thereby help avoid any confrontation with that which demands a full and spontaneous response.
Confrontation, in this view, is a negative, reactionary manifestation that undermines ‘peace’ and the supposed tranquility of a chimeric world which takes over from rational observations and becomes the new reality. A ‘virtual reality’.
This is a deeply flawed and dangerous ethos. For it splits in half that which is whole and sets the two halves in opposition to each other.
We are ‘of nature’ not above or outside it. We go forth and we return. That is the Tao. Universal forces all dance to this tune. Breath, ocean waves, cycles of birth and death, growth and decay, all is in motion and at rest, all the time. There is no contradiction.
Outward action and inward contemplation are two halves of one whole. They are synonymous. One should move between the two constantly and joyously.
“When injustice become law, resistance becomes duty”
Well, injustice has become law – yet resistance remains doggedly muted and the search for an escape route remains the preferred option.
Cultivate spirit, wisdom and deep awareness – yes. Yet not as an alternative to toppling our oppressors from their corporate thrones, but as part of it.
Don’t be fooled. There is a war on. We are all called to the front. Just as the white corpuscles of our bodies are fighting off attempts by the pathogens to take hold – all the time. We should be doing the same – all the time.
Everyday we should be conjuring-up and putting into affect actions to end the draconian government/corporate dictatorship that continues to herd great swathes of humanity ever faster towards a sheer and genocidal cliff.
We can have no ‘peace’ until the criminals at the master control consulate are ejected from their padded leather chairs and are forced to confront the true price of their obscene power games.
Peace – and enlightenment, at the individual level, is only possible if we are engaged in this battle.
The battle to rid both ourselves and this planet of that which seeks to dominate and destroy the true well-spring of life.
The road to victory also requires the wise and aware to form a council of responsible oversight to step-in to the void once the despots are dethroned. That is an essential ingredient of any uprising determined to manifest genuine justice.
The lessons of history teach that fickle rebellion simply replaces one bunch of power predators with another. That is no longer an option; we are now at the point of no return. This time we have to get it right.

Indigenous Wisdom

Learning from indigenous wisdom and knowledge
– To change society a cultural revolution in activism is needed.
by R. Teichmann

About 30 years ago I met a young woman during a train ride and we began talking. During the conversation I asked her what she was doing and she replied that she was studying indigenous civilisations within her anthropology course. When I asked her why she was interested in this subject she replied (the exact words I do not remember after such a long time but I remember the essence): “We will need their knowledge to sort out the problems we’re faced with.”  I did not understand then what she was saying; or better I dismissed it, because what could it possibly be that these cultures (now barely existing and  still under threat from genocide) could contribute to the solving of modern day problems?
I recently attended a workshop with an Elder of the Wampanoag Nation, Manitonquat (Medicine Story). This article is my personal “digestion” of that weekend. I dedicate this to all fellow men and women who hold a vision for a better future and are working towards reaching that goal and especially to Manitonquat and his partner Ellika.
What is the issue?
Ever since I was a teenager, I realised that something was not right with the way we live and the longing to put things right has never left me. I have been active in quite a few movements and political organisations during my lifetime, trying to make the world a better place. I witnessed sectarianism, splits, infighting, movements getting hi-jacked to serve a certain agenda or co-opted to advance something they were originally opposed to, persons with big egos rising to the top to become “leaders”.
In that respect the best example I can think of was the rise of Joschka Fischer to the top of the German Green Party. As such he became Foreign Minister of a coalition government, composed of Social Democrats and Greens, and denounced everything the Greens and he himself previously stood for when he advocated waging war on an independent state, the then Yugoslavia, “on humanitarian grounds of course” without UN Mandate and contrary to international law and the German constitution. It was then that all my hopes to change something by engaging in that party faded and I left it in protest and disgust.
Many parties and movements and even “alternative” communities seem to be ending in the dustbin of history without ever achieving their initial goals – leaving behind many disillusioned good people; people who invested time, work and money to achieve a
better world and tackle the problems we are all faced with. And if they are successful they end up establishing their (or rather their leaders’) way and oppressing and dominating the remainder of society. Why is it that way?
Fear and Isolation
Most of us agree that the current way society works (referred to throughout this article as ‘the system’) is not only unfit for purpose – i.e. ensuring that the needs of people, plants, animals and everything else surrounding us in the broadest sense are met – but is also based on isolation and fear.
The fear of not passing the test in school is where it begins. The fear of not getting a job comes next. Then the fear of losing that job. The fear of not being able to provide for your family. The fear of not being able to pay the next mortgage rate and losing the roof over your head. The fear of not being taken care of in sickness or old age. And then there is the fear of the unknown. That is why people shy away from consciously acknowledging that the system is unfit for purpose and begin to think about how it can be changed and what they can do, even though deep inside they are aware of this fact.
Any movement aiming to replace the failing system with something better must create an environment where people can lose their fear. How can that be done?
Since humanity replaced tribes with ever larger entities of social organisation, comprising more and more humans, the isolation of the individual human has increased. Instead of living in a society where you knew all members of your tribe on a very personal level, where decisions affecting the community were made together and swiftly implemented, we now live in towns and cities or even hubs where you hardly know your neighbours, let alone on a very personal level.
Our direct interactions with nature, to provide us with what we need to survive, are replaced by factory farms and visits to the supermarket.  Group creativity has been replaced with hours in front of that square screen in our living rooms or with spending hours shaking to synthetic music or with finding thrill in consuming “recreational” drugs. Even in the midst of thousands of other people around us, we have become more isolated than ever before.
Hand in hand with this development came the concentration of power in fewer and fewer hands. Instead of being involved directly in decision making and implementing we now have a vote. A vote that changes nothing. Many begin to realize this as the ever less participation in elections indicates. The real power people once had has migrated to career politicians who are lobbied and sometimes financed by big corporations, which are financed by “too big to fail” banks, which are financed by central banks, which are controlled by a tiny elite who make all the vital decisions behind closed doors.
We may feel connected through the Internet, the so-called social media, but these connections are artificial, virtual. We are living virtual lives instead of real ones. The deep personal connection between humans and between humans and nature has been replaced with the illusion of it. Instead of talking to each other face-to-face and heart to heart we now send twitter messages, smileys and hit “Like” buttons. Instead of actually
interacting with nature, we watch “Nature programs” on TV.
Isolation equals disempowerment. Humans feel helpless when isolated. People do not engage to replace the failing system with something better because they feel powerless or perceive the powers that shouldn’t be as being the normal state of affairs that cannot be altered. Resulting from the isolation from nature and fellow human, instead of developing their intrinsic individual spirituality and respect and understanding for everything that is, people follow various religions, look for gurus and ideologies to fulfill their need of spiritual community. This is exploited by those who want control and domination or, even worse, it is used to turn humans against each other.
Any movement aiming to replace the failing system with something better must create an environment where people can connect with one another on a deep personal level as well as with nature, which they are a part of.  How can that be done?
Fear and isolation are the necessary ingredients that allow the current system to linger on, to manipulate most of society, to prevent development and implementation of solutions to most problems and to allow domination, control and destruction on a massive scale.
The creation of an environment where fear and isolation are absent and that encourages direct contact with nature is a prerequisite for any attempt to effect meaningful and lasting change for the better for all of life on this planet. How can we create it?
What do political parties, groups and movements look like at present?
The origins of most political parties, groups and movements stem from the desire to come together with like-minded individuals for a specific purpose.
In the case of a political party, this usually is to get a majority or enough votes to get into government to implement the policies of the party program. Political parties are structured mirroring the society as it is. There are one or several leaders, a “steering committee” or something similar, the “parliamentary party” (those party members elected to parliament) and then there are the ordinary party members. There are conventions giving the illusion that the individual party members have the power, whereas in reality the topics are decided beforehand by smaller groups and committees. The structure is hierarchical. The purpose is not the empowerment of the party members but getting into and staying in power. The so-called party whip is the expression of that. People disagreeing face expulsion and loss of party membership if they do not stick to the party line. In most cases, once in power, the original goals become less important, staying in power becomes the goal. Very often the leaders get co-opted and corrupted. Political parties are necessary in the current system to make it function. They give the illusion that people have a say. Parties are used to split society along party lines the same as religions and ideologies are used to split society along belief lines. The traditional political parties and their structures are as unfit for the purpose to solve problems as the system within which they exist.
Then there are other groups like initiatives against this or that or to save this or that. As admirable as their goals may be, they focus on a single issue and do not address the array of other problems that are present. If they are lucky, they reach their goal- let’s say to prevent the construction of a motorway. Then their purpose is fulfilled and they disappear. If they do not reach their goal they disappear out of frustration of the people involved.
Then we have movements that try to change society by stepping outside the system and living in communities of their own, like Eco villages, trying to lead the way by giving an example of how things can be done differently. But even these movements sometimes fail. These movements have rightly identified the community as the basis for change but many lack the wisdom and knowledge and, in the long run, encounter the same problems.
Indigenous wisdom and knowledge – A game changer
For long periods of time indigenous cultures have successfully lived in tribes in harmony with their fellow humans and in balance with nature. The tribe is the only form of organisation I can think of that could take care of all of our needs, physical (food), emotional (closeness to other human beings) and spiritual (knowing that the entire tribe depends on nature and thus the tribe is embedded in the wholeness of everything there is).
The limited number of people living in a tribe enabled a deep knowledge of your fellow human and an appreciation of his/her personality, virtues and traits. Due to this fact it was almost impossible for one person to dominate. Leadership was not permanent but emerged naturally to solve a certain situation and dissolved again when the situation or crisis was dealt with. Like a family, the tribe was based on mutual respect and even love. It was an environment where fear, isolation and domination were absent. No government, police, judges and prisons were needed.
The various tribes interacted with each other on the basis of mutual benefit. Conflict among them was very rare. Mostly it was young men exploring their strength and courage. It was more similar to a sporting event than a conflict.
We must conclude that tribal life is far superior to any other form of societal organisation in human history, be it feudalism, dictatorship, absolutism, kingdoms, empires, or even the present so called democracies. Especially when we take into account that indigenous tribes still exist today and originated millennia before “civilisation” emerged.
Tribal life centered around the circle. Decision making as well as dancing, singing and celebrations of all sorts were conducted in a circle. A circle where everyone was equally important. There was recognition that Elders held wisdom due to the simple fact that they had more life experience. So they were highly regarded and well cared for. The tribe as a whole cared lovingly for the children as they were joy, inspiration and presented the future. For decision making the members of the tribe met in a circle, recognizing and respecting their individuality and arrived at decisions beneficial to all and future generations (the native American Indians had the tradition of taking into account what effect their decisions would have for 7 generations to come).
I argue that our ancestors really became human when they first started to form circles, sitting together to find out how best to survive and develop. Our natural state of being as a human means living in a tribe and meeting other humans in a circle of equals.

Rise Above

 Rise above your fear

A quick jaunt around the internet these days can leave one cowering in fear if one does not have their fear under control. There are so many predictions of the end times, of earth changes eliminating humanity, of the evil plans of the dark ones. The fear filled scenarios go on and on but it must end. If we are fearful we cannot move forward and if we cannot move forward how do we intend to make it to 4D and beyond? Fear is one of the first and foremost things we must do away with as we begin our journey. We cannot be held captive by fear and hope to raise up our consciousness. It is time to rise above our fears and leave them behind us. They have been inbred in us since the beginning of time it seems. Long, long ago those desiring to control over others learned that fear is an efficient way to do just that. We have been drowned in fearful illusions created to keep us in line. False flags are used to create chaos and then the Government swoops in with ways to save us only those ways of being saved are stripping us of our rights and freedoms. We never seem to notice until it is far too late. We must stop believing in everything we read or see and start to question everything!  To not question the world around us is to live in  ignorance.
Fear is our worst enemy! It weakens us and causes us to look to others for guidance rather than within ourselves. It distorts our abilities to think straight and see the bigger picture which puts everything into an understandable perception. We are force-fed snippets of fearful happenings that get repeated continually via the media until they are firmly implanted into our psyche. I know I keep telling you over and over again to turn off your tv sets and you are probably sick of hearing it, but please, open your eyes! Our magical black boxes of evil are the dark ones weapon of choice. That innocuous black box that squats in your living rooms is how they gain entry not only into our homes, but into our minds and nobody is safe. If you want to raise your consciousness and move on to the new world, you must cut all the ties the dark ones use to hold you captive. Stop listening to their lies on your television sets now!
If you have your roots firmly planted in your hearts and love and in your belief in spirit, then you are able to eliminate fear from your life. If you strongly believe in a higher power and you believe love is the answer to the worlds problems and you live in a world of love you have created all around you, then fear cannot penetrate in and infect your mind. Begin to understand and recognize how the dark ones create the problem and the bigger the better, and then they offer you the supposed answer to solve the problem. War is never the answer to any problem! Taking away people’s rights is not an answer either. We must wake up and see how they are manipulating problems and solutions to fit THEIR needs and always at our expense.

Final Hurdle

This is the final hurdle.  As if on an obstacle course, having met every wall and challenge; exhausted and spent – you have this one more thing to overcome.  It is right before you now.  Whatever has been hidden has come out of its hiding place to stand in the full light of day and you are dealing with it.
The obstacle before you now must be seen for what it is and understood.  Today it will not be hidden, covered up or ignored.  You cannot sweep this one under the rug. There is no movement forward with this baggage.  It surpasses the weight limit.  The higher realms demand an unencumbered you – this fear is too heavy.  It must be left behind.
All of what we have known is true is what it will take now.  These are very dense times.  There are concerns about money, food, shelter, health.  How does a being of light and extraordinary power handle these “end times”?  With ridiculous hope, unwavering belief and steadfast love.  You know you have come for this.
When a new obstacle shouts at you, see it for what it is – a very solid illusion, another hurdle.  Then strategize which method you’ll use to get past it.  Will you climb it, jump over it, find your way around it or crawl through it?  The one thing you can’t do is ignore it.  Its part of this life you are here to experience, another memory you’ll one day look back on and marvel at.  This is the life you’ve chosen.  It did not just show up, it was bidden.  You wanted this.  You may be questioning your sanity, yet what is never in doubt is your ability to succeed.
You will do this.  It is the belief in your ability that will sustain you.  See how far you’ve come.  Remember what is real. It is your true power.  Lives are made with beliefs.  Miracles happen.  What makes a seeming miracle is an unwavering belief in a desired outcome.  They seem to come out of nowhere yet this is not true.  They spring from expectations, as does all of life.  They are created by you.
Expect miracles and see only love.  This is the vision that provides a view of beautiful and a world of abundance.  There is no one, not a person or an institution that is more powerful than you are.  You have come now to move a planet and her people beyond this obstacle course called the “third dimension”.
This will take love.  You know what that feels like; it is what you are at your very core.  You are the one you’ve been waiting for.

Fear

As things begin to pick up speed and move forward in the shift, it would stand to reason the dark ones will become more desperate and make a move to hold on to their control over humanity. Times may become somewhat challenging, but there is no need for us to feel fearful in any way. This is where our faith will pull us through and the love we hold in our hearts. We have been gathering our abilities to stay in our hearts for quite some time now and as the time approaches we must put what we have learned to use. This is not a time for fear or is it ever. We have no reason for fear, for staying in that energy only pulls us down and weakens us. Now is the time for strength and feeling sure about ourselves, no doubts, just that strong knowing in our being that we are right, we are on the correct path and it is love that will guide us to where we need to be.
Let’s face it, fear has been the weapon of choice that the dark ones have used to keep control over us. We bought into it for a long time, but now we are awakening and we know better, fear is a state of mind not a thing. The dark ones used fear as a thing to wave in front of our faces. Terrorism became a ‘thing’, they even created a colored chart to let us know how dangerous times were and how afraid we should be. It is now time to disconnect from the fear meme that has played in our heads for decades. We have been brainwashed into expecting fearful ‘things’ and that we should be on guard at all times. For heavens sake look at our insurance policies! They are based on fear, the ultimate catastrophe that might go wrong that we should be ready for. Our world has been operating around fear.
Fear is a persuasive factor in our health care system as well. Get these shots because if you don’t you could catch the terrible diseases being created. Our food sources were even turned into fear tactics with contaminated meats and vegetables. Our entire way of life was centered around fear in one form or another and for a very long time we accepted this as a normal way of life. Thank goodness we have awoken to the evils we have been living under. It is time for us to resurface and swim downstream away from the stranglehold we have been held captive in forever. The only fear is fear itself, and fear is a state of mind which means it can be changed and it is up to us to do so. Stop falling into the state of fear!
