Sound the Bugle Now

Sound the Bugle Now

by talk2momz

The intellect is a great tool, but it is, at the same time, just a tool. A person can use the intellect to evaluate information and decide that destruction of life is a reasonable action, if it contributes to a desired end goal. Intellect doesn’t need to have a heart. Therein is the big difference between intellect and intuition, or the heart. To proceed with vision is to use intuition.
A few days ago we made it through the 13th anniversary of an intentional trauma perpetrated upon the world. The buildup to 9/11 was as usual, with one fear message on top of another. But the day itself and the days that have followed are different from in the past. Just like the taboo against criticizing Israel fell, so has the taboo against questioning the 9/11 story.
Questions are swirling around and one hardly ever hears about hijackers with box-cutters. It seems the truth is gaining ground and the official story is sounding more and more nonsensical. Mention a hijacker’s passport, found on a pile of pulverized concrete and marble and steel, and people laugh, “They should have made the building out of passports.”
So, bless the human beings of the US for engaging in the truth battle. And bless the human beings of the world who ditched the story some time ago. It seems not a good time for the matrix, as the ‘towers exploding’ imagery is losing its effectiveness as a trauma trigger. Before long that image will mean something else.
The matrix that we refer to is a network and system of control, created by the thoughts, decisions and deeds of intellectual, cold-hearted people in power. Like in the Matrix movie, people believe that the structure of this system and the information that is fed to them is the full extent of reality. It isn’t, and many of us know that. It’s seemingly reality, but far from ‘all that is’.
This system is unsustainable and thus time limited, and yes, we shudder at the thought of what it will do to life on earth on the way out. For a long time it has seemed to me that the end was in the story at the beginning… like the author wrote the end, in which something important is achieved, and then the rest of the book. If the birth, growth, expansion, time frame, final exposure and collapse is pre-destined, in a sense, what could be the purpose of creating an incredibly out of balance experience… so much so as to be insanely anti-nature and thus anti-life?
Could it be for the perfecting of life? I know it sounds like a weird question, but to approach near death in order to correct a flaw or press us into a courageous advance does make sense.
Let’s say this matrix has been constructing itself since the patriarchal religions began some five or six thousand years ago. Just for the exercise, let’s also speculate that the experience was indeed projected beforehand: prophets and visionaries viewed it from time to time, and messengers and teachers came along and gave us a boost or a clue every now and then.
My questions: Did we need to experience the rule of the intellect just to see where it takes us? Did we need to finish up with the idea of an external power and take the power back to ‘within’? Did we need to develop new capacities, so we were given restriction, and the fire of transformation? Did we need to bring the masculine and feminine polarities into balance… finally?
I don’t know the answer to my questions, but I’m open to there being answers, and to us collectively approaching them. Master teachers have offered us a glimpse beyond the matrix, thank heaven, and we continue to increase our knowledge of Self as diligently as is possible. Understanding that there is more to our existence than what we see is a very profound grace.
I honestly can’t imagine what life would be like if we were not able to explore off the beaten track, and communicate with each other as to what we find. That’s why I am so grateful for ‘fence breakers’ of the past and present. Because we are regaining our knowledge, this uncovering of the liars, no matter how uncomfortable, is not as distressing as it could be if we were uninformed.
Okay, now let’s get a little closer before leaving the subject. What is it that the intellect uses to persuade us it’s okay to take a life, not in defense of our own life, but for ‘strategic’ reasons, or operational reasons, or ‘greater good’ reasons, i.e. having to kill off people because humans are contributing to global warming, or having to bomb populations because they haven’t agreed to ‘our right to exist’?
When I ask people what they think of the hearts of those who planned 9/11, they say they can’t imagine it… those people are demonic! And yet we make heroes of the world’s greatest snipers? We admire conquerors? If some killers are demonic and others are admirable, what’s the measure? Can we stop asking the intellect to evaluate, and start asking the heart/mind?
What happens when we weigh things in our heart? Our vision becomes broader, our mercy becomes greater, our fear is replaced with awareness, our observations become more precise and less judgmental. The heart is the seat of wisdom, and the home-base of the warrior.
Clean heart: It seems that the opposite of a clean heart would be filthy one… but no. The opposite of a clean heart would be an unrepentant one.
We look at these top-level operatives of the matrix as having a cold heart, closed heart, small heart, non-living heart. Other than by their deeds, I don’t know of any way to ‘know’ them. But I am sure that they will eventually know themselves, because for them, as well as for us, nothing goes away. No deed can be undone.
