Stonehenge Ancestors
It is generally known throughout time, tribal people honour their ancestors. Sometimes even to the detriment of the tribe. We are sure, like us today our ancient brothers and sisters made human mistakes in their living yet tribal traditions show us that telling stories that honour the wisdom of the ancestors passed down by oral tradition through the generations kept the Ancestor wisdom spirit alive within the tribe. Even though there may have been some discontent between different tribes the common good within the tribal community was always of paramount importance.
Today many tribal people all over the world, whether they have been displaced by colonialism or the very rare and precious few who still continue to live their traditional lifestyle (to what extent they can) are putting aside their differences (if they have any) and are bringing to the for front the best qualities their traditions still hold to help find solutions to many of today’s problems.
Research shows us that much can be learned from tribal people still living today about the likely habits of our tribal ancestors and how Ancestor Wisdom harmonise with our Earth to increase balance and health. Tribal life differs from tribe to tribe as far as the stories told, traditions and practices. What is taboo and not taboo varies greatly when studying individual tribes around the world, yet there are many things like honouring the ancestors that is a commonality.
We are concerned to find out that many of our world’s tribal people are still under threat of extinction due to large corporations simply taking their land for resources and modern man’s feeling of powerlessness to stop this.
The rain forest and other places of nature all over the world are being destroyed displacing thousands of tribal people living there. Often indigenous people cannot go to their sacred places as they have been hijacked by the tourist industry to sell to gullible tourist that think they are going to ancient places, not places that would still be used by indigenous people living today if they were allowed!
Have we really not learnt from our past mistakes and can we really not see what these wonderful people have to offer us today. Some of these people hold ancient wisdom that would have been practiced by tribal people all over the world at one time. We could learn so much about ancient knowledge from people still living and halt the archaeological grave robbing that still goes on to this day as much as possible. Why are we not respecting the people who have continuously pasted down ancient wisdom for thousands of years? Why can’t we stop the oppression and possible extinction of indigenous peoples living today and honour and embrace their right to exist?
The Quest
Our book, Ancestor Wisdom will be available soon to those of you who are interested in how we view Ancestor Wisdom vitally important to our lives today. We look forward to meeting you all and hearing your thoughts of our work.
We will also be providing easy ways you can voice your concern about the issues we raise here so you can be actively involved with making these changes happen if you would like to do so.
The Quest Team
The Quest pages are composed by members of the public who feel passionately that continual removing of pre-history people’s human’s remains from their graves should be handled with far greater finesse by the scientific community.
None of the material here is one person’s work. We are a group of people who regularly enjoy having meetings exchanging ideas and discussing topics we feel passionate about. All of us write and we all like to add to and edit the Quest page material until the work takes on a life of its own.
We share as a group the idea that common human decency is far to uncommon and would like to see the returning of the ancestors remains to Stonehenge not only as the decent thing to do to honour our ancestors, but symbolic that Britain is willing to take a leading role in initiating greater common decency in our world today.
