The wrong people are in charge… that’s pretty obvious. But what is not so obvious is how they got there? And once having found an open gate, why have we left them to graze the best pastures while we grovel around in the barren fallow?

A very strange phenomenon..

This World is run by those of whom the great majority have absolutely no qualifications to be at the helm of anything – not even a small rowing boat. Yet, somehow or other, there they are perched in their palaces, surveying their empires – while simultaneously engaging in the systematic degradation of planet Earth.

Doesn’t matter whether they are generals, headmasters, corporate executives, CEO’s of banks, media moguls, ministers or prime ministers or just about any big bosses – they have the distinction of all acting in unison. While by contrast, the great majority of intelligent and able bodied citizens of this planet, only manage to act – or react – in sporadic and discordant bursts; if at all.

The current controlling masters – and it hasn’t changed much over many centuries – have a commonality of intent: to extract the last ounces of profit and prestige from any and all assets and opportunities that fall into their grasp.

Yet even that isn’t enough for some of them. Profits get a bit boring when they come in the tens of millions year after year and one has occupied the prime suite at Claridges for the past six months. No, there always needs to be just one more thing that can be ‘owned’ and brought under control, so as to satisfy the false agrandissement that is part and parcel of an endless and ultimately fruitless attempt to become omnipotent and untouchable by ordinary mortals.

Such is the aphrodisiac called ‘power’.

Time and again, those who suffer most from a sense of being inwardly dispossessed are the very ones to seek, as compensation, the maximum level of outer possessiveness. And this is the mechanism whereby the wrong people get to be in charge.

Ironically, many who do not suffer such delusional power urges, are quite happy to just tick along fulfilling their aspirations and daily needs as best they can. Yet in doing so, they unwittingly allow the megalomaniacs a direct route to the seats of power.

Those who are secure enough in themselves to take a responsible attitude towards the life around them, seldom come forward to take-on positions of authority and civil responsibility. Their preference is to leave it to others – and in too many cases these ‘others’ often harbour barely disguised ulterior motives.

Yet we look on, aghast, as our world is torn apart by duelling crooks and madmen, each more desperate than the other for the top job in the race for planetary ecocide. Each more desperate than the other to fill any power vacuum that might emerge. Each more desperate than the other to hold a cosh over the disinterested daily workers who struggle on, trying not to notice how bad it’s got..

Where do you belong in this mad scrum?

The wrong people are in charge and the right people don’t want to bother themselves unduly to do anything about it. That just about sums-up the dire state of our post industrial ‘civilisation’. Something has to give..

The question is what?

Will a critical mass of the 99% finally finally act to bring back some genuine self autonomy through wresting control from the 1%?

Or will the 1% finally complete their annihilation job, trashing our planetary assets and crushing our human propensities once and of all? That is the question..

But none of us are free to sit back and play at second guessing the outcome. We are all in there. We are part of the pack. Our every move, whether we see it or not, is either promoting or resisting the despot’s master plan. There is no such thing as being ‘in between’ in this game. The fence you once sat on is broken. The wires are hanging limp. There is no no-man’s-land left to hide in.

At some point soon, those who are fit to lead must take over from those who unfit. It may be a bloodless coup – or it may be a bloody insurrection. One way or another, the shift has to happen.

Forget about Divine intervention. There will be no Divine intervention unless and until there is a very visible human determination already out of the starting blocks and heading for the finishing line. Only then is it possible that higher energies will join the race to bring justice back to this battered World.

We are approaching the point of no return. If we don’t respond to the myriad calls for help that are echoing around this World at an ever increased velocity each day, then we will be condemning ourselves – and those who call upon us – to being forever stranded upon a desolate and barren shore.

That help starts with helping each other to break free from our learned and self induced state of fear and pacifism. A combination that pretty much guarantees an unwillingness to act. An unwillingness to act even when presented with the choice of participating in a mass genocide or opposing it.

I use the word ‘pacifism’ here to convey a ‘state of withdrawal’ in face of the need to act. I do not refer to the choice, which everybody has, to refrain from violence. These are two very different conditions. In this context, taking the decision not to act with violence – is an action. Taking no decision, but simply retreating into a shell – is not.

This unwillingness to act is giving voice to the notion that ‘no action’ is the spiritual choice of the knowing. That to retire into a cul-de-sac of meditation and inward looking self examination can ‘change the world’ by dint of a shifted value focus. Can serve to hermetically seal the self away from the trials and tribulations of the outer world and thereby help avoid any confrontation with that which demands a full and spontaneous response.

Confrontation, in this view, is a negative, reactionary manifestation that undermines ‘peace’ and the supposed tranquility of a chimeric world which takes over from rational observations and becomes the new reality. A ‘virtual reality’.

This is a deeply flawed and dangerous ethos. For it splits in half that which is whole and sets the two halves in opposition to each other.

We are ‘of nature’ not above or outside it. We go forth and we return. That is the Tao. Universal forces all dance to this tune. Breath, ocean waves, cycles of birth and death, growth and decay, all is in motion and at rest, all the time. There is no contradiction.

Outward action and inward contemplation are two halves of one whole. They are synonymous. One should move between the two constantly and joyously.

 “When injustice become law, resistance becomes duty”

Well, injustice has become law – yet resistance remains doggedly muted and the search for an escape route remains the preferred option.

Cultivate spirit, wisdom and deep awareness – yes. Yet not as an alternative to toppling our oppressors from their corporate thrones, but as part of it.

Don’t be fooled. There is a war on. We are all called to the front. Just as the white corpuscles of our bodies are fighting off attempts by the pathogens to take hold – all the time. We should be doing the same – all the time.

Everyday we should be conjuring-up and putting into affect actions to end the draconian government/corporate dictatorship that continues to herd great swathes of humanity ever faster towards a sheer and genocidal cliff.

We can have no ‘peace’ until the criminals at the master control consulate are ejected from their padded leather chairs and are forced to confront the true price of their obscene power games.

Peace – and enlightenment, at the individual level, is only possible if we are engaged in this battle.

The battle to rid both ourselves and this planet of that which seeks to dominate and destroy the true well-spring of life.

The road to victory also requires the wise and aware to form a council of responsible oversight to step-in to the void once the despots are dethroned. That is an essential ingredient of any uprising determined to manifest genuine justice.

The lessons of history teach that fickle rebellion simply replaces one bunch of power predators with another. That is no longer an option; we are now at the point of no return. This time we have to get it right.

It certainly seems to be the way of things that when it comes to the concept of change; the good variety takes forever while the more negative kind can and does happen over night.  Change, and more importantly rebirth are the key concepts of our emergence into the Aquarian age and a new evolution for humanity.  Few of us expected earth shattering events on a massive scale last December 21st when the long count Mayan calendar ended, instead we saw it for what it was, the moment of conception for the rebirth of humanity.
This week marks the ninth month since that ominous date, and common consensus is that this gestation period is over.  Not everyone agrees on just what this means or what may happen (of course) but most do agree we are about to witness an event of magnitude and importance.  The universe rearranges itself to match our picture of reality.  By example; people who are always upbeat, positive, and believe in themselves experience a much different reality than those who have poor self esteem and believe only bad things happen to them.  It's the old law of attraction at work - energy flows where thought goes.
Because reality itself is different depending upon who and where you are, it seems likely that whatever is about to occur will be perceived differently by everyone; according to belief system; and what each individual is willing to see/experience. When it comes to belief systems there is no shortage of them here on earth, and we've all heard it said that they can't all be right ... but why not?  If the universe is considerate enough to rearrange itself to match our view of what reality is, wouldn't you also expect it to reveal itself in a like manner, i.e. something each person was comfortable with and willing to experience?  Seems logical to me, especially if we're really the ones creating all of this reality.

Just because this shift of the ages is happening now it doesn't mean that everyone is ready or prepared for it.  We are not all at the same stage or level of spiritual progress after all.  Our current spiritual needs are as divergent as our beliefs, and in such a beautifully complex system I simply do not believe that "one size fits all."  So, you may wonder as many are, how exactly is all this going to work?  How are all these divergent and often intolerant belief systems going to manifest together all at once, without even more insanity than there is now?  In the wild, when a wolf pack grows too large to remain efficient, or when there is a leadership challenge, part of the pack splits off to form a new pack structure.  Reality continues for both packs...just not the same reality.
Many will tell you that this next week is when the timelines are going to diverge, but I think maybe they already have.  Just a very short while ago it was all but a done deal that Obama was going to bomb Syria ~ then very suddenly he didn't get to because something happened nobody expected.  We are now living in the reality where Syria didn't get bombed, and the dominoes leading to world war three never fell over.  Somewhere "out there" IS that other possible reality unfolding with all it's horror.  I believe many things factored in to what didn't happen in Syria, one of the most powerful influences was public opinion, and not just from Americans, but from around the world.  Because of events like the Arab spring and the great awakening humanity is finding it's voice again...and its power: so we are already living in an altered timeline right now.
It seems the timelines are cueing up and preparing to split, and this is one way it might go down.  Since we have recently departed 3rd dimensional resonance, are currently traversing 4th dimensional resonance and heading for 5th dimensional resonance...I think there may just be three timelines, one for each resonance.  Those spirits whose progress & growth require more greed, death and war without end will remain in 3rd dimensional timespace, those souls ready to evolve to the next level will increase their vibration to that of 5th dimensional resonance - and those who prefer a ghostlike existence similar to purgatory will remain in 4th dimensional resonance, waiting for something to happen.  In a very real way, the dimensional resonance you end up in will largely depend on which one you feed the majority of your energy to in this next week.  Food for thought!
Because I do not intend to partake in their respective reality, I do not think about door number 1 or door number 2 - but rather on "graduating" to fifth dimensional resonance.  Why do we need so many news casts during the day?  To keep us in a perpetual fear mode!  Why is there a late night newscast on nearly every local channel?  To make certain the last things you hear before sleeping are unpleasant & disturbing, to keep you restless.  The progress bar on the movie of your life keeps moving, do you?  If we don't make the effort to stay on our toes and ahead of 'the game' we may very easily become unintended victims of it.  One of the reasons things got this messed up in the first place is because too many folks have just sat by on the sidelines thinking someone would come along and fix things.  Well, the fix is in, but as we can all plainly see by now it isn't the right one.  We somehow managed to find ourselves in a reality where world war three hasn't happened (yet): maybe it would be a good idea if we could make some more choices like that in the extremely near future!

When traveling through different climate zones while mountain climbing, layering of outer garments is a good way to make sure you remain comfortable without becoming overheated or hypothermic.  Something sorta similar holds true for those wishing to traverse thru this 4th dimensional swamp of negativity and arrive at a higher resonance of enlightenment: we have to be willing to discard burdensome beliefs & habits if we are to lighten our load.  When it comes to increasing our vibration, it's a three-fold approach: Body, Mind & Spirit.  We must feed our bodies only the best high vibration foods we can obtain; as we monitor our thoughts to expel all examples of "stinkin thinkin," and nurture our soul for what lies ahead.  We have to shed bad emotional habits like an overcoat on a rainy day, or they will become cumbersome and weigh us down.
The way we raise our individual vibration is by moving in the direction of Life Affirming thoughts, beliefs and actions.  In our hearts, in the silence at the center of things, we know right from wrong - good from evil.  We also know that very often it is much easier to do, or ignore that which is wrong and evil: that's part of the test.  Doing, or ignoring that which our heart knows is wrong or evil always lowers our vibration, every time - no exceptions.  Conversely, by giving our energy only to those things which are positive and life affirming, we increase our vibratory resonance.  There are many ways to raise your vibration, one excellent way is instead of watching the news to see what shape the world is in; meditate for 20 minutes to see what kind of shape your soul is in.  Scary stuff, I know, but still way better for you in all ways.  The first step to any goal is intention, and its the same with raising our vibration.  Knowing your intent and communicating that clearly to the universe is what sets the whole process in motion, and once things are flowing it all comes down to technique.  There are many ways to reach your destination, all you need do is pick one.
Music is another powerful way to influence your vibration; and is easily incorporated into many meditation practices.  There is a great benefit to just putting on music you really enjoy a lot for a couple of hours, whenever you can...the sheer number of folks walking around with earbuds is testament to that fact.  Sound is a most powerful healing modality in itself and can be used to quickly and effectively restore the human energy system to manufacturers specifications, just as one would use a timing light on a car engine.  Many on the spiritual path have discovered the power of using sound, tones and music to maintain their energy at a high level.  For those seeking a good place to start incorporating sound vibrations into their spiritual practice I would highly recommend the works of Steven Halpern, and Jonathan Goldman.  The reason sound works so well and so quickly is due to something called entrainment.  Although we usually can't see them, sound produces waves much like ripples a still pond.  Sound waves radiate out in all directions (just like water) affecting whatever they contact.  Sound waves have various frequencies, some audible to us, others not so much.  When a source of high vibratory rate comes into proximity to another, lower vibratory rate...the lower vibrating frequency will speed up to match that of the higher frequency; this is entrainment and it is being used all over the planet by folks who are tuned into sound to help accelerate their resonance.
For many years now people have been using lucid dreaming to facilitate various areas of their spiritual growth; and it can of course be used as a means to accelerate your vibration as well.  The basic concept here is called dream incubation and basically involves programming your subconscious mind to dream lucidly on a certain subject...before turning in for the night.  With a little practice and some confidence before long your subconscious will respond by delivering what is asked for.  Many folks use this technique to communicate with their higher selves and spirit guides; to find out what to do next, or for help in general.  Our higher selves and guides are there willing and even anxious to assist us on this spiritual sojourn, but they are not gonna come bang on your front door, it doesn't work that way....we must seek them out, knock on their door and invite them to help us.

Another excellent way to raise your vibration is thru the use of crystals and stones from the mineral kingdom.  I did a fairly extensive post on this exact subject ("Ascension Crystals") in June, so I will refer you there rather than go into depth again here.*  Suffice it to say that humans have always adorned themselves with crystals & stones in their jewelry for a reason, they have the power to make you look & feel better which is exactly what raising your vibration does.  When we are sad, depressed or angry with ourselves our energy responds accordingly and lowers in vibration...why do you think we call it feeling 'down' or in the 'dumps'?  Conversely when we are feeling happy and positive, excited with life's possibilities...our energy soars, rising higher and higher until we are 'blissing out' or maybe even 'sitting on top of the world.'  Using crystals in meditation, and for everyday home decor is a most excellent way to maintain a high vibrational state in both our homes and bodies.  Do remember however, that what crystals do is to absorb, amplify and project energy...any energy...they do not discriminate between positive and negative energy, and will amplify & project either with very tangible results.  Something to keep in mind.
When it comes to these big spiritual events like shifting paradigms and splitting timelines the one thing I can state with absolute confidence is that nobody really knows for sure just how it will manifest, and what it will "look" like to our rather limited sensory capabilities.  Some folks believe that the timeline split will be sharp and abrupt while others speculate it will be smooth as silk and sublime as all hell.  When you step back to take in the "big" picture, the multiverse with it's unending procession of possibilities, we see it to be an elegant place full of beauty and mystery.  Oh, indeed, there are countless examples of chaos in the multiverse, but I think we need to take that in context with all of creation, rather than isolate the chaos to focus only on it.  When I see such an elegant multiverse I just have to believe that the events surrounding mankind's evolution and enlightenment will be just as elegant and sublime.
We've all heard the statistic stating that with the most complicated and sophisticated feats humanity has accomplished we are still only using around ten percent of our potential brain power, leaving 90% or so untapped...undiscovered country!  Do you ever wonder about why that is, and the kind of reality we might experience were we to utilize all of our brain potential?  If it is true that we all create our own reality with our thoughts, beliefs and desires, then perhaps we also create our destiny the same way.  What if that unused 90% of our brain is where everything happens, like a holographic theater of the mind...and whether you spend eternity in 3D, or ascend to 5D, it all happens within, according to your thoughts, beliefs and desires.  Ponder that for a while.

I wonder what my backyard is like in the next “dimension”.  Are there locusts and crickets?  What other colors are the flowers?  Do I hear the A/C kick on or is there a form of soundless energy?  Is A/C even necessary or is the air temperate always?  What do the birds sound like?

As I go through this summer of 2012 and we rapidly approach whatever it is we are approaching, I have been considering beyond 12.21.2012.  There is one, you know.  For all of us.  This point was driven home for me a week ago as a pregnancy was announced in my family – due date February 2013.

As ridiculous as it now sounds, I hadn’t thought much about anything past December.  I suspect I traded in my rose colored glasses and instead I’ve been wearing my blinders.  There is always a future.

You are walking into tomorrow, taking with you whatever baggage you decide to hang on to.  Our focus decides what we see.  Our intentions determine how it works for us.  There are no dimensional erasers.  You will be right where you find yourself now, only a bit “shinier”, I suspect. Your light will be more evident.

There are so many components of our lives – our government, our bodies, our relationships, our source of energy, our shoes.  What we believe we are will always be true, until we believe something else.

In these days of exposure and awareness, we are getting a bird’s eye view of what we’ve believed.  Seeing the truth is great, it’s part of the process. We are working up to creating a new truth.  Some of us have stopped waiting.  Where do you stand?  There are many places to plant those shoes you firmly believe in.

You could wait and see, join up, construct a plan, listen and advise, work behind the scenes or do nothing at all.  Every action is an answer, and the answer is either – “Yes, I am a sovereign being of light and I choose something different than what I now see”, or “Yes, I am a sovereign being of light and I’m good where I am right now”.  You could flip flop once a day, once an hour or not at all.  You are always giving your answer.

As we move from polarity to unity we find ourselves faced with very polarized viewpoints.  We are massively changing, this is how it works.  We never knew we had a choice.  Now we know.

Our steps now are “walking our talk”.  Once I had a new floor put in my home.  It was poorly installed and needed to be replaced immediately.  It was my entire first floor, I had babies, it was a mess and I was completely distraught.  I believe it took as long as it did, which was months, because I told everyone I ran into how awful and unfair it was; complete strangers, friends, family, co-workers, neighbors.  It was the only topic of my conversations.  My walk was consistently “Do you know how torn up my house is?” and it stayed that way.

Whatever we talk now will define the tomorrow we walk into.  I choose responsible government, health, prosperity, clean energy, love and colorful flowers.  Our choice is in our every breath.

We’ve come now to consciously step into the new as we create it.  We are actors on this “End of Times” stage, setting the mood for the next scene.  We’ve all been perfectly chosen and our shoes are right where we meant them to be.

We are the ones we are waiting for.

Tipping Point

More and more people seem convinced that something dramatic will happen at the end of 2012. Something dramatic will indeed happen -- and it could be something dramatically good. While the world will not suddenly become a paradise on earth, we could launch a process that would take it in that direction. Because the end of 2012 will be a transition from one age to the next. But into what age it will transit is not decided yet. All we know is that the processes of change that have been building throughout the 20th century will reach a point of no return -- the point at which whatever direction they take will become effectively irreversible. Now, we are almost at that critical tipping point.

The breakout from the old has started already, but it is not yet committed to a breakdown or to a breakthrough. It has not reached the tipping point because some people -- for the most part those whose economic and political interests are tied to the status quo -- believe that the current system can still be maintained. They are trying to restabilize it in business, finance, and politics, and refuse to admit that doing so is futile. Their efforts can delay the coming of the tipping point, but cannot avert it.

 The wiser option is to try to transcend the current system and find ways of organizing ourselves that allow us to live in peace with ourselves, with others, and with nature. This is a realistic option. We have the technology, the money, and the know-how to achieve it. The question is, whether we also have the will.

We need new thinking. Einstein told us that we can't solve a problem with the same kind of thinking that gave rise to the problem, and if our problem is the obsolescence of the world we have created, we need to shift to a new paradigm for our life and civilization. The same thinking that got us here will bring us to the critical tipping point -- and to the irreversible leap which is then likely to be down, rather than up.

We should have long known that the world we have created is not sustainable. In 1962, in her seminal book Silent Spring, Rachel Carson told us that the way we treat our environment is not tenable and is bound to backfire, and in 1972 the Club of Rome published The Limits to Growth, a computerized world model with social and economic and not only ecological parameters. It predicted that in the absence of major change, the world system would collapse in less than a hundred years. Today the condition of unsustainability is widely recognized, but not many realize that we don't have a hundred years before it reaches a tipping point.

We live in a time of crises. The crises are many and diverse, but their cause is basically the same: a serious, and in the absence of determined change, terminal mismanagement of our affairs on this planet.

Freedom

Things are definitely beginning to change quickly now. The foundation of the dark ones world is now crumbling from aged decay. Finally the ultimate controller of the darkness is under investigation, the big companies who control and run this country are being called on the carpet for their crimes. While they don’t seem to be going to jail for these crimes, at least they are being recognized. The citizens of this country also seem to be saying enough is enough and challenging the banks for their crimes, thank goodness. It seems as if daily a wee bit more of the dark is exposed or knocked down allowing us to view the truth at last, and this is just the beginning. I think when all is said and done we will be shocked by what is revealed.

If anyone had doubts that things were happening and change was headed our way, I think it will be obvious now that the light is shining brighter. I hope now the masses will take the ultimate challenge and leap off into the unknown with trust in their hearts that the new world is where we are headed and all will be well if they make the journey. Some will remain steadfast to the old ways and will remain behind and I wish them well. For those taking the leap I say have courage and listen to your heart. Your spirit and higher self is showing you the way. Surrender to your higher self and the universe and say “okay, I’ll do it your way, for surely you know best and I trust you will provide for me.”

For so long now we have been separated from ourselves, we have been enticed into letting Government tend to our needs and provide for us, and we have forgotten that we are more than capable of living our lives on our own. We have lost our deep connection to the earth and nature as well and without this connection we are vulnerable and unaware. Our senses have become dull and rusted and we no longer use them to navigate through our lives on a steady basis. We don’t have the time to stay connected, as we are busy trying to survive in our lives, working long hours for a pay check that our Government pulls from our pockets. In the new world this slavery will end and we will be free and have the time to reconnect with life.

Blogging

As a blogger I sometimes plod my way through other blogs with a view to gleaning some ideas as regards layout or widgets. As I investigate these blogs I can’t help but notice how easy it is to swiftly move on if the content is not what I consider relevant to my explorations. The vast majority of blogs I look at are accessed by the simple expedient of clicking on the ‘next blog’ tab in the nav-bar. This leads to a veritable treasure trove of blogs, but alas, to most of them I grant a cursory glance and swiftly move on. Some I feel are too banal and some too exclusive. This mode of behaviour I’m sure is shared by many bloggers. Some are obviously intended for friends and family, while others concern themselves with a single subject matter. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, the whole ethos of blogging is that it is personal, but at the same time if the content is only of interest to a small number of people it does not bode well for a return visit, or a visit lasting longer than the usual thirty seconds.

However, having said that, there are thousands of blogs out there in the blogosphere that are of more general interest. In some cases the subject matter is confined to a single issue or theme and others are more general. I consider my blog to belong to the general category but with self imposed limits to it’s generalization. I try to confine my posts to half a dozen fields of interest, which include alternative history/archaeology, 2012era phenomena, social and cultural transition, myths/paganism and of course my digital artwork. However I believe all these subjects are relevant to the global transition.

As I trawl through the blogosphere I can’t help but notice the great number of blogs where the latest post was three or four or even five years ago. I consider these as dead blogs and if one felt inclined to comment on one of the posts therein I doubt very much if it would be even noticed by the blog’s author. There are, no   doubt, countless reasons why bloggers stop blogging. For example they might just not have the time to post on a regular basis, or simply get bored by their hobby. And of course some folk might suddenly realize that they don’t have that much to say!  But whatever the reason for quitting blogging I am sure a lot of people get a bit disillusioned when they get no one joining their blog or when they don’t even get a simple comment. If you are still reading this post the chances are that you have stumbled across it by accident and if it holds no interest for you then you will click off pretty quickly if you haven’t done so already. If however, my blog is of interest to you and you find it enjoyable or informative then please add yourself as a friend or feel free to comment. I would find this very encouraging. I fully intend to keep my blog going as I enjoy doing it and I know that there are a few visitors who do return and I am getting daily hits. It all takes time though, to search for relevant articles and to do a picture for each post. The links on this blog lead to some excellent sites. Whether or not you subscribe to the idea, I honestly believe we are entering a period of rapid and immense cultural and political change, bigger than anything that has gone before for a very very long time.    Síochána.
