Change of the Ages

All in All we’re Cracking the Wall

Today I’m going to tackle a subject and a half… starting with some statements and questions: We project our minds into imagined future events according to our analysis of what we see, hear, and accept as real in the present. We reject experiencing one future scenario and we fully embrace another based on opinion, past experience, hopes, fears, beliefs or obligations. None of it is real of course, unless we make it so.
And now… what abilities do we utilize in order to emerge beyond the mind and emotions into actually being within a preferred reality?
Whenever I consider starting something new, I wait for a very helpful person who seems to intuitively know it’s time to call. He calls and asks what I’m up to. For me the conversation is going to provide a map called checking in with the ‘shoot it downer’. For him, the conversation is the reasonable, experienced businessman interjecting a little reality into my mind.
I tell him the plan, and then I listen to him tell me why it won’t work. He asserts that his reasoning is much more in tune with what’s real and how life works than mine is. I listen and tell him I’ll give his warnings my consideration. He hangs up the phone with a touch of friendly encouragement, “Well, go ahead and try it… because you always do what you want anyway… but don’t put any money in it.”
Then I get my chance to sit back and look at the rock wall he has constructed. These rocks are the mind’s reasons why it won’t work. Next step? I let myself be like water, and find my way through the cracks and holes in the wall.
Of course I’d rather talk to someone who believes in me, but the shoot it downer is helpful too. He’s a spiritual experience; testing my ability to trust inner knowing, and feel the river beyond the barrier of the rock wall. In meditation I can align with the feeling of the river beyond, and then proceed.
Alright now… we’ll start the bigger subject: anticipated reality and the collective consciousness. Using the tools of the system: emotion, mind, reaction, action, inaction; people anticipate what is coming and they attempt to prepare for it… or not. Some believe it will be bad and we’ll be overwhelmed, some believe things will change slowly and we’ll be okay, some believe they will be spared due to God’s love for them.
‘What will befall me’ depends upon the system… what will the powerful do and how will I handle it when they do it?
In all of these scenarios, the only tools the people have (emotion, mind, reaction, action, inaction), are contained within the sphere of control and cannot extend beyond it. They are the rock wall of the collective consciousness.
If we observe, we can see that the powers directing events may be hindered by a fatal flaw. Have any of them ever shown a capacity for originality? They can only do what they do, and intensify and expand on what they know. When confronted with the truth they concoct another lie and dig in deeper. The journey to their demise will likely be an amazing thing to watch. Intensify, intensify, intensify, burnout, implode.
We’re caught in it unless we can bring ourselves to see the rock wall, become the water, and feel the river beyond the wall. To begin to feel, which is ‘perception of energy’, we start with disengaging emotion and mind. Why disengage the mind? The mind is close to worthless in anticipating what’s coming – intuition is much more accurate. Why disengage emotion? Anger, rage, sorrow, despair and fear destroy perception.
People wonder why so many are choosing to meditate: we do it to stop the mind, disengage the emotion and enter the eternity of our being. Eternity has a greater power and needless to say it has been around longer than the time period of this current matrix.
As much as the system would prefer that we remain within its sphere, we have heard from metaphysical travelers in the vanguard. Outside the sphere is where the power lies! They are standing with one foot inside and one foot outside, and teaching and showing us. We listen to what they say, and we can feel where they’re coming from: ego and righteous indignation count for nothing, but heart counts, truth counts, intuition counts, perception counts, feeling counts.
As we put our own feelings into the river beyond the rock wall, we begin to know this is far more real than the sphere-confined tools of knowing.
How then do we move ahead? We begin the work to change ourselves and consolidate our power. First comes humility, as we see how small we are. Then comes our ability to chip more cracks and holes in the rock wall. Then comes the realization that living in harmony with nature and other humans is required: align to the spirit within all… nurturing, kind, reverent, truthful, self-knowing, self-responsible.
Within the global consciousness there are many millions who are changing themselves, and this, in itself, affects the balance. We call it a transformative time period, an awakening, a renewal. A change of the ages will always be brought about by enlightenment and creative intelligence… greater and greater numbers of individuals able to see beyond the barriers of the collective mind and emotion.
Will we have to experience tighter restriction, more threats, more programming, before we can slip through the widening holes between the rocks and into the river? I believe we will, but as we do so, we can keep in mind that everything is meaningful, and everything is a spiritual experience… and those experiences are used for refinement, cleaning up, and expanding awareness.
Can you see that the renewal is not made up of complacent individuals taking the path of least resistance? Transformation is resistance at the most effective, liberating level we have available to us. It involves resisting the pull of the ego’s opinions and the force of the collective emotion.
What is the hardest thing you’ve ever done? For me, it was to look at myself truthfully, see who I really am behind the persona, and change. Become a better person. Change my disdainful sentiments, see others as equally as human as myself, and strive to become the three graces that we yearn for others to extend to us: tenderness, generosity and respect.
Another very hard thing to do is to understand that the disintegrating world we now live in looks suspiciously like a taste of our own collective medicine.  Note: everything is spiritual, including medicine.
Now imagine millions of people doing the hardest thing they’ve ever done… change themselves. This is an epic resistance to programming and conditioning. Will it have an effect on global consciousness? The people are global consciousness… so of course.
Having reached this point, what does my creative intelligence tell me? The rock wall will open up fully one of these days, and those who have become like water will flow into the river. This is the renewal… the change of the ages.
