Archaic Revival 2

Evolving Through the Survivalist Mentality to the Unity Mentality

Keen Awareness
For the sake of our own collective survival let us all give our full attention to the following questions:  Is it possible to thrive in this survivalist society, where one most become ambitions and competitive, where one is trying to out do the next person all to secure what they fear they cannot do without?  Or can we begin to feel how much more harmonious and productive we could be, how much more peaceful we could be, if we secured the needs of the community first as opposed to securing what we need as individuals?  I am definitely not talking about communism and I am not talking about any type of government intervention either.
When we, as a human society, come to know what trust is to its highest degree, we will no longer need governments dictating the way society operates.  Essentially the concept of property rights, the imaginary lines we place around each other to separate one another, is an example of how we do not trust each other.  But trust is the backbone to the social evolution needed to create harmony on this planet.  If we trust each other we will develop a society from that trust.
The number of people who want to build a more harmonious society with each other and with the Earth is growing.  But only when the majority of people see that humanity is one organism will we move closer to thriving on this planet.
Observe and question the main stream avenues of social influence.  Observe the main stream media, observe government, observe religion, and observe big business.  Do these institutions disseminate views and objectives that support unity and harmony or do they keep the illusion alive that we, above anything else, are different and separate from each other?
Be observant as to what you watch and listen to, your mind is registering everything, even those things which it can not readily discern.  Be careful to see that maybe the major avenues of social dissemination are subliminally telling you that you are an individual who is not good enough, not pretty enough, not strong enough, and not rich enough to be labeled a “success.”  What is a success anyway?  Is something a success when it proves that you are “better” than another person at something?  What was that magazine trying to tell you about beauty and how you relate to it, what is the Hollywood star telling you about how wonderful it is to be rich, popular, and influential?  Are these people really better than you?  Better yet, are these people fundamentally different than you?
There is no such thing as “better” only as far as you believe something or someone can be better.  Do you fear you must be better than someone else in order to secure your piece of the pie?  Is there not something fundamentally wrong with this way of life?
How are we to move from the survivalist mentality that has us competing against each other in a race to the bottom of consuming Earth’s last resources to a more harmonious society that thrives and allows the Earth to function optimally?
I will leave you with one hint…in nomadic tribes there is no mental illness, rape, or hideous activity.  People depend upon each other because they know that even in their individuality they are a part of a greater functioning organism…the clan…Their individual survival is dependent upon the collection intentions of the group.
Yes, we live alone in our apartments and homes.  Yes, we commute alone.  Yes, we eat alone.  But aren’t we just a clan inhabiting this planet?  We are humanity.  And only when we act to bolster and support each other will   Until then our fearful and individualistic nature will have us consuming the remaining resources of the Earth in pursuit of securing this resource for that country or this resource for that person.  What humanity needs now more than ever an a archaic revival.  We will thrive upon this planet when we combine the ingenuity of the technological era with the intuitive knowing of the eras past that had us knowing without question...that we are one.
come to thrive on this planet.

“WE two boys together clinging,

One the other never leaving,

Up and down the roads going,

 North and South excursions making,

Power enjoying, elbows stretching,

 fingers clutching,

Arm'd and fearless, eating, drinking,

 sleeping, loving.

No law less than ourselves owning,

 sailing, soldiering, thieving, threatening,

Misers, menials, priests alarming,

air breathing, water drinking, on

the turf or the sea-beach dancing,

Cities wrenching, ease scorning,

statutes mocking, feebleness chasing,

Fulfilling our foray.”

Human Limits?

“Humanity Won’t Be Augmented, It Will Be Drowned”
By: Hugo de Garis

The Transhumanists, as their label suggests, want to augment humanity, to extend humanity to a superior form, with extra capacities beyond (trans) human limits, e.g. greater intelligence, longer life, healthier life, etc. This is fine so far as it goes, but the problem is that it does not go anywhere near far enough. My main objection to the Transhumanists is that they seem not to see that future technologies will not just be able to “augment humanity”, but veritably to “drown humanity”, dwarfing human capacities by a factor of trillions of trillions. For example, a single cubic millimeter of sand has more computing capacity than the human brain by a factor of a quintillion (a million trillion). This number can be found readily enough. One can estimate the number of atoms in a cubic millimeter. Assume that each atom is manipulating one bit of information, switching in femtoseconds. The estimated bit processing rate of the human brain is about 10exp16 bits a second, which works out to be a quintillion times smaller.
Thus artificial brains will utterly dwarf human brains in their capacities, so the potential of near future technologies (i.e. only a few decades away) will make augmenting humanity seem a drop in the ocean. My main beef against the Transhumanists is that they are not “biting the bullet” in the sense of not taking seriously the prospect that humanity will be drowned by vastly superior artilects who may not like human beings very much, once they become hugely superior to us. The Transhumanists suffer from tunnel vision. They focus on minor extensions of human capacities such as greater intelligence, longer healthier life, bigger memory, faster thinking etc. They tend to ignore the bigger question of “species dominance” i.e. should humanity build artilects that would be god like in their capacities, utterly eclipsing human capacities.
Since a sizable proportion of humanity (according to recent opinion polls that I have undertaken, but need to be scaled up) utterly reject the idea of humans being superseded by artilects, they will go to war,  when  push really comes  to shove,  to ensure that humans remain the dominant  species. This will be a passionate war, because the stake has never been so high, namely the survival of the human species, not just countries, or a people, but ALL people. This species dominance war (the “Artilect War”) will kill billions of people, because it will be waged with 21st century weapons that will be far more deadly than 20th century weapons, probably nano based.
The Transhumanists are too childishly optimistic, and refuse to “bite the bullet.” They do not face up to the big question of whether  humanity should build artilects or not and thus risk a gigadeath Artilect war. The childlike optimism of the Transhumanists is touching, but hardly edifying. They are not facing up to the hard reality. Perhaps deep in their hearts, the Transhumanists feel the force of the above argument, but find the prospect of a gigadeath Artilect War so horrible that they blot it out of their consciousnesses and pretend that all will be sweetness and light, all very happy, but not very adult.

A Reply the above by Steve Richfield

I used to believe as you do, but my opinion has since morphed a bit after many discussions with singulitarians.
Singularity is a religion, only instead of praying to an existing God, they are seeking to create their own God. The parallels to the Tower of Babel are there for all to see.
I have come to believe that anyone who would buy into a “human friendly AGI” must necessarily be too stupid to ever build one, and hence is no threat. Simply ignore the singulitarians, as you now ignore the many other lunatic cult religions.
What is a threat is the diversion of resources to such folly, and the potential awakening of governmental regulation over competent AI development.
Note that several companies now have prototype cold fusion reactors working, but there has been SO little press after past bogus claims. It will be interesting to watch as this technology moves into the mainstream, because the dangers are very parallel in that lunatics could potentially build hydrogen bombs in their kitchens. While this may not be as dangerous as releasing super-human AGIs, it is nonetheless dangerous enough to observe the social response.

The New God

There is a New Revelation about God, a Revelation that takes God out of the ancient history of humanity, out of the conflicts and the fantasies and the misunderstandings of humanity. This Revelation takes God into the larger panorama of life in the universe called the Greater Community.
You need this new understanding of God now because the God of the ancients was a small God—a God of your world and of your time, a God of your cultures, a God of your peoples in ancient time. But humanity has outgrown this God, this human God, this angry God, this vengeful God, this God that seems to be a projection of your personality and tendencies.
It is not that the ancients are wrong. It is just that their comprehension was limited. It is not that they created a God in their own likeness; it is just that they could not comprehend a God that was beyond their likeness.
The New Revelation presents God within a greater context, within the context of intelligent life in the universe. This is not a human context, for it is not a human universe that you are facing.
It is not a God that is preoccupied with this one world alone. It is not a God that judges the way that you would judge or condemns the way that you would condemn. It is not a God that needs praise and worship, that must have obedience and adulation. That is the old God of the tribe. That is the old God that favors one nation over another, one people over another. That is an old idea of God.
But God has never been like this you see. For the God that people have looked to and have worshipped, the God that people have apprehended and misapprehended, has always been the God of the Greater Community—the vast expanses of space, other dimensions of reality and countless races of beings, so different from the human family.
This is the one God of the universe. Not a God of one world, one people or one tribe. Not a God that thinks, acts or behaves the way that human beings think, act and behave. This God is not limited to one Revelation for humanity, for there have been successive Revelations for humanity. Now there is a New Revelation for humanity to prepare the human family for the great change that is coming to the world and to prepare humanity for its future, destiny and encounter with the Greater Community of intelligent life in the universe.
It will not be possible for you to think of God in the old ways if you want to understand God’s New Revelation for the world. You will not be able to understand the reality and the significance of intelligent life in the universe if you think of God in old ways. For the old God was exclusive to humanity—a God of one nation, a God of one people, a God of one’s race, a God of one world alone. That is why the old God was too limited and too much discerned in the likeness of humanity alone [for people] to comprehend God’s real nature and purpose, even here in this world.
The old God took people to war. The old God seemed to have no concern for the welfare of people and nations that God did not favor. The old God was used by kings, monarchs and nations to justify and to amplify their nation’s grievances and ambitions. The old God seemed to delight in punishing humanity for the inevitable errors that humanity would make in its separated state living in this world. The whole notion of Heaven and Hell is built around the belief and the assumptions about the old God.

Childhoods End

 We Don't Own The Earth!
By Ed Komarek

There are several major challenges for today's youth to consider involving extraterrestrial realities. The future of mankind, for better or for worse, rests on how well today's youth conceptualize and address these challenges. The young people of today must foresee, prepare, and adapt to rapid change because humanity is fifty yeas time will be very different from today's humanity. I believe in 50-100 years time, if present trends continue, that future humanity will be as different as we are today from the horse and buggy days of the 1800s. There will be, I predict, an incredible and rapid restructuring due to the technological advances that will not only transform our world-reality but ourselves as well.
Our first challenge will be the general and shocking recognition that we don't own the earth. The truth is that it will soon become widely know that there are many technologically powerful extraterrestrial race stakeholders to the earth, many who maintain bases and small colonies deep underground and under the oceans.  ( An interesting sideline to this is that ET children sometimes wander away from the protection of their parents just as ours do. Charles Hall also claimed to rescue a TW child in the Nevada desert.)
Even more disturbing for some will be the recognition that we don't even own our own Genome. I don't think we really own anything unless we can defend it by rule of law or by force. Obviously we don't own the copyright to our Genome because ET races seem to be able to exploit our genetic material for their own interests and as of yet we can not do anything about it either through rule of law or through force.
We will soon recognize ourselves to be the emerging indigenous stake holder to the earth. Our developing current situation is much like when indigenous peoples in our past found themselves overwhelmed during the European colonization and had to struggle for independence and a place amongst the League of Nations.
A second and concurrent challenge to humanity will come abut from developments in nano-genetic engineering. It is already being predicted by some genetic scientists that in only 20 years, humanity will unlock the secret to aging and in halting aging, suddenly find ourselves with lifespans of hundreds of years maybe thousands of years.
This already seems to be present today in ET races like the Tall Whites. It would appear that the universe is already filling up with technologically advanced species and with these niches already filled, we should not assume we can deal with a huge overpopulation problem by emigration into space.
The third major challenge is the eugenic challenge. Eugenics and follows from this second challenge, this whole idea of completely re-engineering our bodies and minds and our environment within we exist. In a very sort period, a fraction of a enhanced lifespan, we may no longer look nor feel human, having restructured ourselves and integrated into ET reality on par with other ET races.
In a blink of a eye earth humanity could suddenly and irrevocably have metamorphosed as predicted by Arthur C. Clark's book, Childhoods End. Any UFO/ET informed person can easily see that Clark was drawing from secret special access to ET knowledge obtained by governments in the 1950s. Clarke was attempting to prepare the public for what was to come within a short 100 years. Our children must know and understand that the troubles of this generation are but the growing pains of a new humankind and a new earth. They should not be discouraged or distracted by the violence, pessimism and triviality and fear of today's realities, but instead strive forward with a open and honest youthful optimism so lacking in today's older generation. Rare are those of the older generation who in old age don't fail and fall into depravity of mind and soul. Today's youth must cultivate and hold tight the ideals of a bright vision of humankind so as to lift themselves up out of the difficult realities of today by creating a better tomorrow.

Guardians

 Guardians of the Last Hope
by Gillian MacBeth-Louthan
We all come to an intersection of self and soul, light and dark, grey matter and everything in-between.
August has asked us to walk forward into the dark passageways of time using only the light we hold in our heart. It has wrapped its energies around us like a boa, squeezing us until we say ‘uncle.’ This month has demanded our undivided attention.
Like glass, we have shattered only to be replaced with a solar mirror reflection of what is possible. We have been asked to expand past any perimeters of lack or limitation into a place of undiluted freedom. This month has sent some button pushing master teachers in the form of anyone and anything we have a charged reaction to. It has asked us to bend over touch our cosmic toes and still balance on the high wire of light, all the while juggling our regular life.
The teachings of August have been like a drill sergeant in your face, breaking down all that does not serve one. You cannot run, hide or shield yourself from these learning’s, as they stick to one like a cosmic spider web. August has always been a month of transformation, pushing us into new teachings before the colors change in the autumn. Breathing deeply and continually asking for divine insight and clarity will bring one to edge of their old selves.
Like a fledgling, you can be pushed from the comfy nest or learn to fly on your own. The mechanics of manifestation and creation is being re-defined. The words ‘want and need’ will no longer describe who you are. The words “have, create, deserve, receive” will be where you land.
Humanity is the only species that was made in the Creator’s image holding all the credentials for doing great feats. We are the last Hope of a loving God that sees the future of this blue-green sphere and is dependant upon humanity to move past its self-imposed trials and tribulations. Finally securing its place in the universe. We the people, can never stop believing in better days, in the goodness of mankind, and in universal justice. We can never stop believing in our dreams, for ourselves and those we love.
Darkness feeds on doubt and fear. It wants us to give up and give in to a bleak future with no hope. We are the Guardians of the last Hope, fueled by the Creators belief and faith in us, it is our mission and duty to hold this Light of Hope high for all to see. Let your light shine on what seems like the darkest of days. For one spark of Hope can ignite an entire world. As the memory of what was, seems to drift like a dream in the morning, we continue to move quickly down the corridor of time. We are being ushered into time doors that swing both ways. Down hallways that never end, into a place that has not been created yet.
All of us have seen and felt the energy and the trail of chaos it leaves behind. Time is like a wild horse that bucks the 24 hr system and continues to look for a way out of the dimensional corral. Time brushes past us like a gust of wind, not asking our permission to do what it was born to do.
Time has shifted. It has quickened its pace, and all past alignments have shifted as well. Longitudes and latitudes dance to a new beat. Leylines and time markers are off line, sacred geometries are reset. An actual cog in time has been felt as the worlds walk into a new wavelength of Light.
Life pushes us harder into a corner of limited choices or so it seems, but it is us that has painted ourselves into that corner by our limited thinking. We can just as easily paint a way out if we choose.
We still biologically walk to the beat of the old drum when the band plays on in a different octave of time and light. Our perceptions are enhanced and we see in and out of time but are still not sure where to place each thought. Seeing between the worlds is not a place for those weak of purpose.
One must hold tightly to the tight wire as time doors are opened and possibilities present themselves in a new array of colors. The unexpected is to be expected on a daily basis. People do there best to hide what ails them, but actions are louder than any words.
This year of time asks one to get down to the business of picking up the shattered glass and like Alice, going into all facets and fractures of self. The Mayans were the first to use mirrors as a portal of transport to places that could not be seen with the naked eye. The place of mirrors comes to reflect what needs to be seen as one crosses the timelines of multi-verses.
Seeing into the future is not a place for those weak of heart or knee. As one walks through the time doors, many trap doors make themselves know. Mini black holes to other universes and places of parallel time loops, can escort one back and forth creating a dizzying effect. Time doors open and close faster than the blink of an eye. Truth and time are individual, and do not present a singular view or outcome.
The unknowable becomes seen in the halls of time. That which has been emptied now becomes full. Freeing itself from definition, there is nothing to do, there is nothing to let go of, you are simply free to explore all that you are. A shift of realm awakens from a long sleep to escort you into the nexus cornerstone where time and space meet and embrace you.
All limitations are transformed in this expanded version of reality.
Do you have the courage to quantum leap into this fluid point of possibility and swim with the big fish in the sea of the collective dream field? Your vessel of eternal self is being purified for the expanded energies and truths of the upcoming shifts from now to 2012.
You are an instrument of light that is being fine-tuned.

Unity

Zbigniew Brzezinski published an article for the New York Times in which he wrote: “For the first time in history almost all of humanity is politically activated, politically conscious and politically interactive. Global activism is generating a surge in the quest for cultural respect and economic opportunity in a world scarred by memories of colonial or imperial domination.” This situation is made more precarious for elites as it takes place in a global transition in which the Atlantic powers – Western Europe and the United States – are experiencing a decline in their 500-year domination of the world. Brzezinski wrote that what is necessary to maintain control in this changing world is for the United States to spearhead “a collective effort for a more inclusive system of global management,” or in other words, more power for them. Brzezinski has suggested that, “the worldwide yearning for human dignity is the central challenge inherent in the phenomenon of global political awakening.” In 2005, Brzezinski wrote:
It is no overstatement to assert that now in the 21st century the population of much of the developing world is politically stirring and in many places seething with unrest. It is a population acutely conscious of social injustice to an unprecedented degree, and often resentful of its perceived lack of political dignity. The nearly universal access to radio, television and increasingly the Internet is creating a community of shared perceptions and envy that can be galvanized and channeled by demagogic political or religious passions. These energies transcend sovereign borders and pose a challenge both to existing states as well as to the existing global hierarchy, on top of which America still perches…
The youth of the Third World are particularly restless and resentful. The demographic revolution they embody is thus a political time-bomb, as well. With the exception of Europe, Japan and America, the rapidly expanding demographic bulge in the 25-year-old-and-under age bracket is creating a huge mass of impatient young people. Their minds have been stirred by sounds and images that emanate from afar and which intensify their disaffection with what is at hand. Their potential revolutionary spearhead is likely to emerge from among the scores of millions of students concentrated in the often intellectually dubious “tertiary level” educational institutions of developing countries… Typically originating from the socially insecure lower middle class and inflamed by a sense of social outrage, these millions of students are revolutionaries-in-waiting, already semi-mobilized in large congregations, connected by the Internet and pre-positioned for a replay on a larger scale of what transpired years earlier in Mexico City or in Tiananmen Square. Their physical energy and emotional frustration is just waiting to be triggered by a cause, or a faith, or a hatred.
Important to note is that Brzezinski has not simply been writing abstractly about this concept, but has been for years traveling to and speaking at various conferences and think tanks of national and international elites, who together form policy for the powerful nations of the world. Speaking to the elite American think tank, the Carnegie Council, Brzezinski warned of “the unprecedented global challenge arising out of the unique phenomenon of a truly massive global political awakening of mankind,” as we now live “in an age in which mankind writ large is becoming politically conscious and politically activated to an unprecedented degree, and it is this condition which is producing a great deal of international turmoil.” Brzezinski noted that much of the ‘awakening’ was being spurred on by America’s role in the world, and the reality of globalization (which America projects across the globe as the single global hegemon), and that this awakening “is beginning to create something altogether new: namely, some new ideological or doctrinal challenge which might fill the void created by the disappearance of communism.” He wrote that he sees “the beginnings, in writings and stirrings, of the making of a doctrine which combines anti-Americanism with anti-globalization, and the two could become a powerful force in a world that is very unequal and turbulent.”

Reclaim the Child

We seem to have this misguided notion in our heads that we all change as we grow up as part of the process. Who dreamed this explanation up? Who we were as a child should be the same as we are as adults basically. Of course life experience changes us slightly, but our essence, our core, our child should never change. We have been forced to change because of the world we are existing in today. It is time for us to dig deep and reconnect with that child within us all. To find that being who held no judgment, who always asked questions of life, who was always curious and innocent and loving. The changes we have undergone have been slow and subtle, so gradual they were unnoticeable.

This is where the evil side of the dark ones entered into our lives with their agendas. Now we stand here today mere fragments of what we were when we burst forth through the birth canal and entered humanity. We must lovingly take the time to reclaim who we are and nourish that person back to wholeness and health. The fact we have stopped questioning or being curious and looking for answers is the main reason we are where we are today in a life or death struggle between light and dark.
We have forgotten how to be children, we have allowed ego to take control in our lives and we have slowly pushed the child’s innocence in all of us aside. We have succumbed to the perils of judgment, jealousy, and greed leaving behind our child’s ability to be pure and loving and accepting. We have bought into the lie that this is just what happens to us as we progress our way through life. Is it? How do you know? I say it isn’t the natural progression of things but rather they are by products of what has been done to us. These traits we have learned were born out of a sick and darkly orchestrated world. The child in each of us was destroyed and we didn’t even know it was happening. Evil is so subtle at times, it has to be in order to gain access to the host it has chosen to carry its eggs.
If we had lived in a loving, peaceful, harmonious world I believe we would have retained our childlike ways, just grown up in size to adulthood. It is imperative we see and understand the truth and importance of childhood. It shows us who we should really be today had we not been taken hostage and brainwashed into the shell of who we are today. The secret of change or shifting, lies in our abilities to reclaim the child within. It is in there somewhere buried beneath the programming, we just have to find it and reconnect with the traits of that child again. To be loving and curious and non judgmental and accepting. This is who we all are in our hearts and souls when you strip everything else away.
